We asked our TEDxYerevanChange 2013 speakers to share what the enjoyed the most about the event. Here are their answers.

The most valuable part of the overall experience was preparing the talk. The whole process helped me organize my thoughts on the matter that has been important to me for many years, but remained on the level of discussions with colleagues, personal disappointments or achievements. Formulating and voicing out these thoughts was very useful to me both personally and professionally. As to the event itself, I so much enjoyed the balance between intellectual and social activities and connecting to the nature on a perfect spring day.

The first TEDxChange event in Armenia took place on April 6, 2013 at InnSerenity yoga retreat center in Aghtsk village.

The participants kicked off the event with an outdoor yoga session to re-balance their mind, body, and spirit.

Meanwhile, the others walked to Arshakid’s tomb constructed in the middle of 5th century.

A word about our speakers! The speaker line-up included an environmentalist interested in appropriate technology, a head of programs at a non-profit, a media and development aid professional, and a musician passionate about social justice, innovation and spiritual development.

Our wonderful host, past TEDxYerevan speaker, Madlene Minassian, opened the event inviting audience to challenge preconceived ideas and actively engage in conversation!

We are now accepting speaker nominations for TEDxYerevan 2013. We are seeking inspiring speakers and performers for our upcoming TEDxYerevan event.

Our goal: Ultimately, we’re looking for folks who have made an impact in the world. And we’re looking for presenters to inspire our audience to continue pursuing their own vision for impacting the world around them.

Please use this form to suggest a speaker or to nominate yourself. If you do not know the individual personally but feel they have something to say and should be heard, share what you do know and why you think they should be a TEDxYerevan speaker. We do not have a deadline for nominations, but note that speakers are typically finalized at least 40 days prior to each upcoming event.

TEDxYerevanLive 2013 comes to TUMO!

TUMO Center for Creative Technologies hosted a webcast of Session 5: Dream! of 2013 TED conference “The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered.” from Long Beach, California, on Thursday, February 28, 2013. The entrance was free and open to public with a prior registration.

We had more than 100 people show up at the event. All in all, TEDxYerevanLive 2013 was a great opportunity to reconnect with the TEDx community and friends and meet new people in a wonderful environment.

TEDxYerevanChange coming soon!

The first TEDxChange event in Armenia will take place at InnSerenity yoga retreat center (Aghtsk village) on April 6, 2013 and will be an invitation-only event for 40 people.

The TEDxYerevanChange will include video streaming of TEDxChange 2013 from Seattle, Washington. Themed Positive Disruption, TEDxChange 2013 speakers will challenge preconceived ideas, spark discussion, engage leaders and shed light on new perspectives. In addition to webcast, TEDxYerevanChange will have several live speakers and a discussion session. The live talks will be recorded and will be made available for public online after the event.

TEDx is a wonderful environment in which to hear ideas worth spreading, among people who are interested in discussing new and innovative approaches to local and global issues.
